Could a simple nudge save lives? study tests new way to get people screened for colon cancer
NCT ID NCT06796049
Summary
This study aimed to see if a simple behavioral reminder, based on the idea that people follow social norms, could get more patients to complete an at-home colon cancer screening test. It was planned for patients aged 45-75 at a specific New York City clinic who were due for screening. The main goal was to measure if more people returned their test kits and how quickly they did it.
