Remote group therapy trial aims to help kids with rare genetic disorder control emotional outbursts

NCT ID NCT06105736

Summary

This study is testing whether a remote group therapy program called 'Regulating Together' can help children and teens with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) better manage emotional outbursts and difficult behaviors. The program involves 5 weeks of online group sessions for kids and separate sessions for their caregivers, followed by a 10-week period to practice skills at home. Researchers want to see if this approach is practical and helpful for families dealing with TSC-related behavioral challenges.
