Scientists hunt for clues to fix failing bee sting treatments
NCT ID NCT04259359
Summary
This study aims to understand why standard treatment for bee venom allergy fails for some people. Researchers will test adults with a history of severe allergic reactions to bee stings to see if being highly sensitive to a specific part of the venom makes the treatment less effective. The goal is to identify these risk factors so that future treatments can be improved to work better for everyone.
