First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether letting parents read their child's medical notes on a bedside tablet helps them be more involved and catch safety problems. About 630 parents of hospitalized children under 12 will be randomly assigned to use the tool or receive usual care. Researchers will track how many notes are viewed and whether parents report safety concerns.
