NCT ID NCT07281638
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether a portable exercise bike that attaches to hospital beds can help patients stay mobile and avoid problems like muscle loss, weakness, and confusion. About 80 adults expected to stay in the hospital for at least 3 days will use the bike for at least 15 minutes daily, alongside standard care. Researchers will track how often patients use it, safety, and whether it helps shorten hospital stays and improve recovery.
