Summary
This study tested a program called BEATMeth that helps people with methamphetamine use disorder start treatment quickly after a hospital visit. The goal was to prevent overdoses by getting people into addiction care within 30 days. The study included 192 adults from the Denver Health system. Researchers measured how many people entered and stayed in treatment, and how many had overdoses.
