Sensors and video calls aim to keep low vision patients using their magnifiers
NCT ID NCT06107881
Summary
This study compares remote video training to traditional in-office visits for teaching people with low vision how to use magnifiers and vision apps for daily tasks like reading. It also tests if small Bluetooth sensors attached to magnifiers can detect when patients stop using their devices, so help can be offered. The goal is to improve access to care and help people maintain their independence.
