First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether playing recreational beach tennis for 12 weeks could lower blood pressure and improve physical fitness in 42 adults with high blood pressure. Participants were randomly assigned to either a beach tennis program or a non-exercising control group. The main goal was to see changes in 24-hour blood pressure readings, with additional measures of fitness and strength.
