Summary
This study tested whether sending text reminders to patients and alerts to doctors could increase flu vaccination rates in adults aged 50 and older. Over 26,000 people took part across multiple clinics. The approach used simple, low-cost nudges like pre-visit texts and automatic vaccine orders for doctors. Results showed these gentle reminders helped more people get vaccinated.
