Summary

This study tested whether a brain-computer interface (BCI) training could improve hand and arm movement in people with recent spinal cord injuries. Thirty participants used a BCI system that reads brain signals during hand movement imagery, while a comparison group did similar imagery without the BCI. The goal was to see if the BCI boosts brain plasticity and leads to better recovery of arm function.
