Summary

This study tests whether the BCG vaccine (used for tuberculosis) can prevent type 2 diabetes in adults with pre-diabetes in Guinea-Bissau. Researchers believe the vaccine may reduce inflammation and insulin resistance. 200 participants will receive BCG and be monitored for diabetes development over time.
