New COPD drug candidate enters first human safety trials

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug, BBT002, in healthy volunteers and people with COPD to see if it is safe and tolerable. Researchers will also look at how the drug moves through the body and whether it shows any signs of helping with COPD symptoms. The study involves 68 participants and is currently recruiting.
