Summary
This study tested a gentle movement therapy called Basic Body Awareness Therapy (BBAT) as an add-on treatment for 25 people with COPD who struggle with breathlessness. BBAT focuses on balance, free breathing, and mental awareness to help patients better manage their symptoms. The goal was to see if adding BBAT to usual care improves breathing, quality of life, and confidence in managing the disease.
