Summary

This study looked at whether baxdrostat, a new drug for high blood pressure, changes how the body makes cortisol (a stress hormone). 48 adults with uncontrolled high blood pressure took baxdrostat or a placebo for 8 weeks. Researchers measured cortisol levels before and after a stimulation test to check for any effects on adrenal gland function.
