New hormone combo aims to stall prostate cancer spread

Summary
This study tests a treatment called bipolar androgen therapy (BAT) for men with prostate cancer that has not spread but is showing signs of progression on standard therapy. About 69 men will receive testosterone injections along with their current medication to see if it can delay the cancer from spreading to other parts of the body. The goal is to extend the time without new tumors while managing side effects.
