Scientists scan Pitchers' brains to unlock shoulder mystery
NCT ID NCT06704529
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the brain processes shoulder position sense in baseball players with a common shoulder condition that limits rotation. Researchers measured brain activity and shoulder awareness in 98 active players while also tracking their pitching speed and accuracy. The goal was to learn how these factors connect, which could inform future training or injury prevention approaches.
