Scientists test simple brush to predict esophageal cancer risk

Summary
This study aims to prepare for a larger future trial by testing new methods for collecting and analyzing cells from the esophagus. Researchers will enroll 50 adults with Barrett's Esophagus to collect cell samples using a small brush during routine endoscopies and have participants complete quality-of-life surveys. The goal is to see if these methods can reliably gather information to help create better future monitoring strategies and predict cancer risk.
