Summary
This study aimed to see if information about a new, non-invasive screening test (EsoCheck/EsoGuard) would change doctors' decisions about referring at-risk patients for an endoscopy. Doctors reviewed simulated patient cases before and after learning about the new test. The goal was to understand if this simpler test could be a useful tool in deciding who needs the more invasive standard procedure.
