First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how obesity harms the heart and blood vessels, and whether weight loss surgery can reverse that damage. Researchers will follow 85 adults with obesity for a year after surgery, checking blood vessel function, fat tissue, and inflammation. The goal is to understand how fat tissue talks to blood vessels and how weight loss improves heart health.
