Summary
This study looked at how weight-loss surgery changes amino acid levels in the blood. Researchers measured these levels in 50 obese patients before surgery and at 1 and 3 months after, and compared them to 50 healthy people. The goal was to understand the metabolic changes that happen after surgery, not to test a new treatment.
