Mineral baths may tweak heart function in osteoarthritis patients
NCT ID NCT06923969
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study checked if a three-week program of balneotherapy (mineral baths) changes heart function in 44 adults with osteoarthritis. Participants had heart ultrasounds before and after the baths. The goal was to see if the therapy affects how the heart pumps and relaxes, not to treat the arthritis itself.
