Summary
This study looked at whether thermal bath therapy (balneotherapy) affects heart function in people with osteoarthritis. Researchers measured heart activity using ultrasound in 44 adult and elderly patients before and after a 3-week program of warm water immersion. The goal was to understand if this common arthritis treatment has any impact on how the heart works.
