Heart study pits inflatable balloon against permanent stent

NCT ID NCT06448637

Summary

This study is comparing two common treatments for clogged heart arteries: a drug-coated balloon that inflates and is removed, and a drug-coated stent that stays in place. Researchers want to see which one helps the artery work better 8 months after the procedure. About 94 people with coronary artery disease will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two treatments.
