Heart artery breakthrough: balloon treatment challenges traditional stents

Summary
This study compares two treatments for completely blocked heart arteries: drug-coated balloons versus traditional stents. Researchers want to see if balloons (which leave no metal behind) work as well as stents at keeping arteries open long-term. The trial involves 200 patients who will be randomly assigned to receive either treatment and followed for three years.
