New Balloon-Only approach tested for tough heart blockages
NCT ID NCT06275386
Summary
This study is testing a special balloon coated with medicine to open up heart arteries that are 100% blocked. The goal is to see if this balloon treatment works well and is safe, potentially avoiding the need for a permanent metal stent. Researchers will follow 30 patients with these blockages for up to a year, using imaging and pressure tests to check how the artery heals.
