Summary
This study looks at the best way to provide balanced energy and protein supplements to pregnant women in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Researchers will compare giving supplements to everyone versus targeting only those at high risk. The goal is to prevent serious problems like low birth weight, stillbirth, and preterm birth. About 6,750 pregnant women will take part and be followed until six weeks after giving birth.
