New study tests therapies to stop falls from diabetic nerve damage

Summary

This study is comparing two types of physical therapy to see which is better at improving balance and walking in people with diabetic nerve damage (neuropathy). 80 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either sensory re-education or proprioceptive neuromuscular training for six weeks. The goal is to find the best approach to reduce the risk of falls and help people stay independent.
