First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tested a special type of balance training (called perturbation-based training) in 30 children aged 8-10 with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. The training uses small, controlled pushes to help kids learn to recover their balance. The goal was to see if it improves trunk control and overall balance better than standard therapy.
