Scientists test balance to unlock better back pain treatments
NCT ID NCT07242976
Summary
This study aims to understand how balance differs in people with three specific causes of chronic low back pain: spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, and disc prolapse. Researchers will measure the balance of 80 participants using a specialized machine called the Biodex Balance System. The goal is to gather information that could help physical therapists create more personalized rehabilitation plans to improve stability and reduce fall risk.
