Researchers put a Fall-Prevention questionnaire to the test
NCT ID NCT03343821
Summary
This study aimed to check how reliable and useful a specific questionnaire is for assessing balance and fall risk in frail elderly people. Researchers tested the questionnaire on 140 hospitalized patients aged 65 and older who could walk short distances. They compared the questionnaire's results to other standard physical balance tests to see if it gave consistent and accurate information.
