Summary
This study aims to see if using a sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) fluoride toothpaste daily helps keep gums healthy after a professional dental cleaning. Researchers will follow 100 adults for six months, giving them either the test toothpaste or a placebo. They will check gum health, measure substances in saliva, and look at mouth bacteria at the start, 3 months, and 6 months.
