Ancient chinese exercise tested as Drug-Free relief for arthritic knees

NCT ID NCT06650865

Summary

This study tested whether a gentle Chinese exercise called Baduanjin could help people with knee osteoarthritis. Sixty participants aged 40-70 were split into groups to compare different exercise programs over 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain, balance, fear of movement, and physical function to see if Baduanjin could offer a safe, non-drug option for symptom relief.
