Ancient chinese exercise tested as new hope for aching knees
NCT ID NCT06650865
Summary
This study tested whether a gentle Chinese exercise called Baduanjin could help people with knee osteoarthritis. Sixty adults aged 40-70 with knee pain did a 12-week program, either standard exercises, Baduanjin, or Baduanjin via video call. Researchers measured changes in pain, balance, fear of movement, and physical function to see if this traditional practice offers relief.
