Ancient exercise tested as natural blood pressure fix
NCT ID NCT05397535
Summary
This study tested whether practicing Baduanjin, a traditional Chinese exercise, could help lower blood pressure in adults with elevated levels. Researchers followed 216 participants for up to a year to see if regular practice reduced blood pressure and improved other health markers like cholesterol, sleep, and mood. The goal was to see if this gentle exercise could be a convenient, drug-free approach to managing early-stage high blood pressure risk.
