Ancient exercise may help tame diabetes
NCT ID NCT07336030
Summary
This study tested whether practicing Baduanjin, a traditional Chinese exercise, could help people with type 2 diabetes better manage their condition. Researchers worked with 42 adults who had diabetes for 5-10 years to see if the gentle movements could lower stress hormones, improve blood sugar control, and make daily activities easier. The goal was to see if this mind-body practice could be a helpful addition to standard diabetes care.
