Summary

This study tested a single dose of a virus mixture (bacteriophages) given intravenously to adults with cystic fibrosis who have a chronic lung infection with Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The goal was to see if the treatment is safe and can reduce the amount of bacteria in the lungs. The trial involved 72 participants across the U.S. and compared different doses against a placebo.
