First seen Jun 30, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study examines how different types of bacteria in the mouth are linked to the severity of dental cavities. Researchers will collect saliva and plaque samples from 56 people aged 3 to 45 and grade their cavities using a standard scoring system. The goal is to better understand which bacteria are present at each stage of tooth decay.
