Walking backwards to fight falls in MS

NCT ID NCT04091464

Summary

This study is testing if training to walk backwards can help people with multiple sclerosis (MS) reduce their risk of falling. It will compare backward walking training to standard forward walking training in 90 participants who have MS and walking difficulties. The main goal is to see if the backward walking program is practical and acceptable, and if it improves balance, walking, and confidence to prevent falls.
