Backpack habit changes how Teens' feet touch ground
NCT ID NCT07161349
Summary
This study looked at how different ways of carrying a school backpack affect pressure on teenagers' feet. Researchers had 92 healthy teens stand and walk while carrying backpacks in different ways: on both shoulders, on just the right shoulder, on just the left shoulder, and with no backpack. They found that carrying a backpack on one shoulder makes more of the foot touch the ground, but doesn't increase the actual pressure on the soles.
