Mind over pain? new study pits Brain-Based therapy against movement training for aching backs
NCT ID NCT07282925
Summary
This study is comparing two different exercise programs to see which works better for young adults with ongoing, hard-to-pinpoint low back pain. Researchers will have 70 participants try either Cognitive Functional Therapy, which focuses on understanding pain and changing habits, or Kinetic Control Training, which focuses on correcting specific faulty movements. The goal is to see which approach does a better job of reducing pain, improving daily function, and helping people move more confidently.
