Tape or pressure: which eases aching backs better?

NCT ID NCT07425301

Summary

This study tested whether adding kinesiology taping or ischemic compression to standard physical therapy helps people with long-term low back pain. 102 participants with pain lasting at least 12 weeks were split into three groups to receive either standard care alone, standard care plus taping, or standard care plus compression. Researchers measured changes in pain levels and back flexibility after three weeks of treatment to see which approach worked best.
