New hope for failed back surgery pain? Nerve-Zapping procedure tested

NCT ID NCT07156513

Summary

This study tested a procedure called pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) for people who still have significant back and leg pain after spinal surgery. About 130 participants received either the PRF treatment or standard steroid injections to see which better reduced pain and improved daily function. Researchers followed patients for several months to compare the results.
