Scientists probe hidden link: can a weak core limit your reach?
NCT ID NCT07474610
Summary
This study aims to understand if changes in a deep abdominal muscle in people with chronic low back pain are connected to how well their arms and shoulders work. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure the core muscle and test arm reach and shoulder position in 90 people, comparing those with and without back pain. The goal is to gather knowledge about this potential link, not to provide a treatment.
