NCT ID NCT07360067
First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at 200 adults with sick sinus syndrome who need a pacemaker. Researchers want to see if pacing the heart from the Bachmann bundle (a natural electrical pathway) is better for heart health than the usual pacing spot (right atrial appendage). Participants will have their heart function checked with ultrasound over time, but no new treatment is being tested—just comparing standard care options.
