Baby massage may shape brain wiring, new study suggests

Summary

This study looks at how massage affects brain connections in newborns. Researchers will give daily massages to half of the 80 babies in the study and compare their brain scans to those who did not get massages. The goal is to learn more about early brain development and how touch might influence it.
