Early talk training for babies with down syndrome shows promise

NCT ID NCT06450509

Summary

This study is testing a new early intervention program called Babble Boot Camp for infants with Down syndrome. It teaches parents, via video calls with a speech therapist, how to help their babies develop speech and language skills starting in the first year of life. The goal is to see if this proactive approach can improve communication outcomes compared to waiting until speech delays become noticeable.
