First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why the body sometimes rejects a kidney transplant despite treatment. Researchers will study B cells (a type of immune cell) from 45 adult kidney transplant patients who are having a biopsy or graft removal. By analyzing these cells and their antibodies, they hope to uncover the triggers of rejection and find better ways to prevent graft loss.
