New hope for tough cancers: first test of promising drug combo begins

Summary
This is the first study in people to test a new drug called AZD8421. It aims to find a safe dose and see if it can help control advanced breast cancer or ovarian cancer that has spread and stopped responding to standard treatments. The study will test AZD8421 by itself and combined with other cancer drugs in about 564 participants.
