New drug combo tested in fight against advanced prostate cancer

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new drug called AZD5305 when given alongside standard hormone therapies for men with metastatic prostate cancer. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if the combination shows early signs of helping control the cancer. The study will enroll about 174 men whose cancer has spread and who are candidates for hormone treatment.
