Early drug test for weight and diabetes shows safety focus
NCT ID NCT06988553
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new drug called AZD5004 to see if it was safe for people to take. It involved 45 Chinese adults who were overweight or had obesity, some of whom also had type 2 diabetes. The main goal was to check for side effects and see how the drug moved through the body, not to measure how well it worked for weight loss or diabetes control.
