New drug AZD4956 targets Hard-to-Treat cancers in early human trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called AZD4956, alone or with other cancer treatments, in people with advanced or spreading solid tumors that have a specific DNA repair flaw. About 180 adults will take part to see if the drug is safe and works. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it.
